The Beans - BACCF Annual Feijoada
The "Feijoada" is one of the most important
annual events organized by the Chamber, where we
welcome in the new Board of Directors for the
upcoming year. An informal luncheon held on a
Saturday in January, BACCF members and friends
gather together to celebrate the holidays.

Excellence Award
The BACCF Excellence Award was created to
recognize and reward visionary, innovative and
accomplished leaders in many different fields,
such as business, science, sports and arts.
Every year the Chamber is proud to celebrate the
accomplishments of top leaders and their
invaluable contribution to the development of
relations between Brazil and the United States. |

BACCF Tennis Championship
The BACCF Tennis Championship was created to
bring the Chamber athletes, friends and family
together for a day of great fun and networking.
A barbecue or gourmet dinner follows at the end
of the day at the fun-filled Awards ceremony. |

BACCF Independence Gala Dinner
This traditional evening celebrates Brazil’s
Independence and has become a landmark event as
the largest annual social gathering of the
Brazilian community in Florida. This very
special celebration is held on, September 7th.
The event, a black-tie dinner-dance, takes place
at one of Miami’s five-star hotels, especially
decorated for the occasion. The night features a
live well-known orchestra for the entertainment,
carrying songs from Bossa Nova to the oldies. It
is the most happening event of the year! |

BACCF Indoor Soccer Tournament
The BACCF Soccer Tournament was created to bring
the Bi-National Chamber athletes, friends and
family members together for a fun-filled day of
sports & networking. If you are not a soccer
player, join us to cheer on the teams and stay
for the Awards ceremony and delicious
caipirinhas (21 yrs & older). |

BACCF Trade Conferences
Regardless of international experience, this is
a unique opportunity for participants to become
more knowledgeable about and to consider
expanding their company's reach to Brazil or to
the United States. Topics covered but not
limited to include: economic and political
overview; tax and accounting considerations in
Brazilian and American transactions;
acquisitions, joint ventures and re-structuring;
financing operations; cultural similarities and
differences; import and export issues. |

to share their expertise with Chamber members
and friends. This provides an exceptional

and to exchange information and knowledge with
leading companies involved in US-Brazil

BACCF workshops are held for small
groups of individuals. Geared to focus on issues
of interest to a specific segment, workshops are
an important informational experience for all. |

This is a great opportunity to interact
with representatives from member-companies and
businesspeople from the local community. There
is a brief presentation on how the Chamber
operates, and then each participant introduces
themselves and their company. |

BACCF Card-Exchanges
After-hours events where participants have an
opportunity to network with BACCF members and
businesspeople from the local community. The
BACCF usually partners up with other chambers of
commerce and business associations in order to
create a greater web of contacts. |
